2. (McCain) as he always does, substituted vehemence for coherence. . . |

(I can't believe I actually agree with George Will.)

5. How can there possibly be half an electoral vote? |
|
That site frequently has fractional EVs, and I can't quite figure that out, since it's winner take all of the EVs by state.
But I will say that I do find it somewhat distressing that so many states are still shown as red.
Perhaps at some point McCain's progressing senility and Palin's utter unfitness for the vice-presidency (let alone the presidency) will make the final tally what it ought to be, about 70% of the popular vote for Obama, and every single state being carried by him, including Arizona and Alaska.

Nate and Co. runs 10000 simulations in their model - and the average from those can give a decimal. The number given is not the precise expected end result on election day. But the ballpark number of where the model says its most likely to end up, sort of.

4. "McCain found his inner voice |

and it's William Jennings Bryant". Wow. What has happened to George Will?
I cannot believe that entire group essentially saying that McCain is out of touch and probably not suited to being President.

a very crabby person.
I used to work at National Airport in Washington DC. I waited on him a few times, and while he wasn't outright rude, he was crabby and unfriendly.

11. Impotent is the key word with this group.McCain wise...experienced...LOL |
|
A telephone pole has that kind of experience. Being wrong for 39yrs is not experience...it's a reputation. McCain graduated 894th out of 899 graduates in his class and this the panel ignores. Hell, even Bush jr got B's and C's. McCain is a D- in everything. The panel refuses to come out and say the man is not qualified to be president or even a senator. That he has manipulated the public for sympathy for him being a POW and married a wealthy woman with connections that got him where he is.
Things are really bad when a completely right wing group like this has trouble justifying McCain's words or actions. Really, really bad.

18. They are well versed in history of politics; what they have to say |

now, considering we are in a tenuous position, is of importance. Sometimes even the political pundit has to leave his allegience to his party at the curb.

10. McCain's Real Age? What is a P.O.W. year? |
|
What is a P.O.W.year? Equal to how many civilian years? Lets say two. That makes McCain effectively 83.
