2. Make no mistake; repubs are blatently racist
How many do you know that regularly throw around the N word. They are despicable.

5. The Obama image insert was to cast blame by association, but notice also
...the extreme contrast adjustment to make Obama's skin look darker then it really is. That was pure fascistic propaganda deception

6. Everybody has a right to apply. The responsibility was on the institutions
to ensure they carried only the risk they were capable of covering.

How is anyone suppose to understand where they stand financially the first time they apply for a mortgage, if they don't go through the process? Hopefully, the feedback they receive will give them the information they need to do what they need to do to get a house the right way.

15. Too tired (and busy) to search for one but feel free. If it wasn't still true don't you think it
would be big news in the Progressive community?

I'm sure we'd have heard about it at some point if CNN or MSNBC passed Fox. I do know that O'Reilly is the highest rated and that Hannity and Colmes (sadly) clobber anyone on MSNBC.

17. I remember that at one point...
Fox was hemorrhaging viewership and it WAS big news. This is why I question.

11. If you don't have a southern accent aren't you supposed to use subtle racism?
Maybe that is Fox's subtle?

Racism is alive and the acceptance of this language and the ideology it exposes has been growing. Just as "stupid" became cool and acceptable and educated became elitist the more open, exposed and acceptable certain types of what we used to call subtle (as opposed to blatant) racism became.

Now all the pretext to subtle are being dropped by some. Instead of moving forward in many ways we are losing ground.

These actions need to be called out when they are seen. We need to get more aggressive in our exposing this dangerous trend. A major news organization, which FOX is whether I like it or not, cannot be allowed to use the public air waves this way. They have a responsibility, whether they like it or not, to use appropriate language. If I can't say certain of "the seven words you can't say on TV" then Fox needs to mind its language in a way that does not offend me as well.

P.S. I know all southerners are not racist and many northerners are.

12. Sort of right, but off a bit
Past and present administrations, HAVE pressured companies to make MORE minority loans
if it was felt that the companies had not done enough historically.

HOWEVER, it is unclear as to whether or not they explicitly said 'make loans regardless of risk factors'
(that is where the finger-pointing begins, and I doubt we'll ever know the whole truth).

FOX News proves to be nothing but a medium for racist right-wing extremists and their propaganda.

18. There's no limit to the insanity of these people. I think The Onion have been really
up against it, ever since they discovered their satirical predictions of the Bush regime's ministrations would, in future generations, pass for a serious historical text book.
