I am really beginning to fall in love with Campbell Brown. She calls out McCain in a very clever way. Her being a woman makes it even more difficult for McCain to hide her. The MSM is slowly growing a pair. Between Campbell and Rachel Maddow it seems like its the women who are giving Palin more of a tough time than anyone. The other three candidates are facing the media, why not her?

She calls out McCain in a very clever way.
The McCain camp has been hiding behind Ms. Sarah's skirt since she hit the scene and only come out loud enough to scream "sexist!" at every person who asks about this ludicrous woman's background and/or history.
Campbell just turned all of that COMPLETELY upside down and has exposed who the real sexists are -- the idiots who selected this cretinous woman and who are praying to anyone who would listen that they could skate through to the elections without having anyone ask her a single question, and that the public would only care about her ability to birth multiple babies and keep her chestnut hair shiny and healthy.

4. Pardon my male chauvinism, but Campbell just went up a few points in my book |
|
Yes, by all means, let the press question Sarah Palin like any other candidate.
If she doesn't know the answer to a question, then let the McCain campaign cry foul and sexism for asking a trick question like "What does the Bush Doctrine mean to you?" or "Do you know where Africa is?"
Clever lady, Ms. Brown.

The sexism directed at Palin is coming from those who choose her as a candidate for her gender and looks, and she cooperated with it all the way. Now the Republicans are stuck with a dud they know can't be let off her leash. I bet the GOP wishes they had never heard the name Sarah Palin. They are counting on getting to the election without actually having to reveal what she's really like, but it's a losing game.
It's funny how right-wingers just don't get the idea of equality. They cry 'sexism' when Princess Palin is treated as an equal to men, and not shown the proper "respect & deference", as one of her keepers put it. Apparently, they think it's sexist NOT to treat her as unable to withstand what the male candidates endure.

While I think Palin is a snake in the grass, I do not like it that Grampy McSame and his people are "protecting" her.
If she and Gramps DID manage to get into the white house, and something happened to him, WTF kind of President would she make, if she can't even be let out to handle a press conference?

she's not being sheltered from the press because she's a woman. She's being sheltered because she's completely unprepared and knows nothing about everything.

I agree that is the reason, but they are angling it as 'those men reporters are going to attack poor Sarah the second she is available' so the McCain campaign is tempering their candidate's lack of knowledge with a healthy dose of 'she is too frail to handle those mean 'ol media men'. I think Campbell should do a 1-on-1 interview. That would give Tucker Bounds the runs.
