5. does anyone think this is the first step in McCain wanting to delay the elections ? |
|
first he can say suspend the debates and then the elections. i would not have believed it before but with what his campaign has been doing.

McCain needs a break. He's exhausted and needs cancer treatment NOW. He thinks he can just disappear for a little while and everything wil be fine.

7. No, I really don't think there is any possibility of that. The election will happen. |
|
There is no way anyone could do that. The election will happen for sure.

8. yes, it will happen, but they want it to happen a little later |
|
they would say delay instead of cancel. this way it might not sound so bad. and of course under the cover of wanting to deal with some problem.

11. It's pretty radical for a mainstream talkshow host to say this stuff out loud |
|
I'm hoping it indicates a shift in thinking for the country. And it makes me sooo want to schtupp Ferguson but that's a given.

13. I was thinking something along the same lines. Letterman |
|
has been railing on McCain for some time now so I think that doesn't have quite the same effect, even if he does do the entire monologue on McCain. Ferguson, on the other hand, is somebody who I don't think has gone on a rant before on his show. The fact that he brought up some pretty political observations is amazing. By pointing out that this is the democratic process, he really brought the point home. That was huge. I hope that your observation is correct and that the mainstream is thinking along the same lines.

the Bush choice originally was frumpy grumpy old Fred. Then again, this campaign just seems to be unhinging. I don't think they have a clue wth they're doing.

...A guest on his show spoke about how members of the Bush family were holding fundraisers for Romney.

17. canceling the election,. what is needed? are they working toward it? |
|
humm,. that is an interesting question,. under what circumstances could the Cheney administration stop the election,. (I have been saying this for years, ever since they stole the office the second time,. that was the LAST american election,. and these guys would just never leave,. military rule!) So what would it take? another 9/11? 5000+ people killed in another PNAC terrorist attack?? The total collapse of the banking system,. hummm,.. I have long known that the whole system is a fictition based pyramid of cards,. and could be toppled at any point,. so to see this happening NOW in the final moments of THIS particular administration is very interesting indeed,. If they can push this to the point where ATM machines stop giving out money, then martial law is a given,. . and we know they have ALREADY deployed an army division back to america for emergency response,. .

20. I believe this is a very real possibility. |
|
I cannot fathom that Bush and Cheney would voluntarily give up the power they've worked so hard to amass over the last 8yrs, especially since it would make them vulnerable to prosecution for domestic and international crimes.

even if they do it with humor as Ferguson did. People need to be aware that they might try to pull this.
