Mr. Letterman is less than happy with McCain and the live feed of him with Couric with Letterman's comments - priceless! Was also good to get clarification from Olbermann about why he's a commentator instead of anchor on the debates.

5. Letterman pretty well burned McCain |
|
Did anyone catch that maybe MaCain, (Carl R.) wanted Friday nights debate canceled so there wouldn't be time for 4 debates. Keith and Letterman both thought it would be Palin's debate. That woman is not all that bright, she really messed up on CBS. yellowdogdemocrat2

6. Obama should show up for debate; turn it into a press conference.... |
|
Naturally McCain will be a no show. And they know that putting Palin up against Biden right now would be an unmitigated disaster. So fearless John runs.

8. Grampy goes to Washington? |
|
Do we really want the guy who kept repeating that he knows nothing about the economy going to Washington to fix it? People who now nothing about the economy generally cause problems like this. Oh...wait....hmmmm
I am envisioning somebody's senile grandfather burning the house down because he had a senior moment and then insisting that he must help the firemen put out the fire. Of course, in this analogy, I use the term firemen loosely. :)

I nodded off and missed this. McCain's floundering badly and his VP hopeful can't manage a lifeline when she's got herself all tangled up in it!
