John McCain pulls another desperate campaign stunt, to no avail.

Keith Olbermann said McCain's pitiful attempt to stop the debate tomorrow night is McCsin trying to eliminate the VP debate between Biden and Palin. Too bad....the Debate Commission already said the debate is going to be held tomorrow, regradless of McCain's presence or not.

I predict McCain will show for the debate and get his butt handed to him in a bag.

Then McCain's poll numbers are going to drop faster than Andy Dick's pants.

btw, aren't the people on MSNBC's Morning Joe some of the stupidest right-wingers ever?

2. WTF, Lawrence O'Donnell at the very end wraps up with a glimpse at what our government has become.

Of, by, for the people my ass! It's a f'ing game to them and they're more concerned about how the for/against numbers come out than the meat of, or the even the actual necessity of this bail out in the first place. It's been made politically necessary by the cries of crisis, depression and this artificial Friday deadline that have created nothing but FUD. This entire process is for nothing but appearances, the Kleptos will get their bailout and the rest of the world will continue to get the shaft.

well looks like the repugs have pushed their campaign over the cliff,. HOWEVER the Cheney Pirates are not out yet! they could push this 'crisis' further down the hill,. then declare martial law,. and call off the election! This is exactly WHY they should have been impeached,. and arrested, long before they could make this crisis happen,. 5. McCain distraction....

could cause 24 hour delay and interfere with the resolution.

So what I'm saying is,

The house is on fire. After treasonous delay which allowed their friends to safely retreat and organize
a looting, the Republican Administration finally cries 'fire' and stirs up a useful panic.

So the fire brigade finally arrives and is organizing to fight the 700 BILLION ALARM fire, while
Republicans insist that one of the men who started the fire be given complete command to fight the
fire, yet he will not explain how he plans to fight it and gives every other indication that he
is INCOMPETENT in his job.

Comes now McCain with NO firefighting knowledge but just enough political clout to interfere with
the fire brigade for a critical 24 hours so that the dire prophecy he makes becomes
self-fulfilling .

If I were a fire Marshall (or a field commander) in command in such dire circumstances and too
busy to direct an arrest, it would be my opinion that it was my sworn DUTY to pull out my service
revolver and, without rancor or passion, shoot that interfering son of a bitch right between the eyes.

Then turn quickly back to work.
