The fast talking, and throwing talking points out there at random, is her way of trying to cover up the fact that she is absolutely, totally, 100% CLUELESS about the subject at hand, whatever that might be (and if you listen to her you will be hard pressed to determine what it might be).

Normally I would give some credit if credit was due. For example, I am willing to admit that Bush delivered a speech last night that was free of gaffes, that he spoke in grammatical sentences, pronounced most words correctly and his words were not slurred. Now it was also full of lies of omission, and was otherwise content-free, except for warning us about things like our savings disappearing and banks in our communities folding -- in other words, fear Fear FEAR!!! -- but he read the teleprompter without coming off like a total idiot (although he did come off like a simpering jackass). But Sarah Palin? Good Gawd, she is the dumbest sack of rocks to be trotted out on the campaign trail in my memory -- and I have followed politics closely since before JFK was assassinated. She puts Bush to shame in the race to the intellectual bottom.

How dare they put her up as a candidate for the office of Vice President of the United States. I could forgive McCain and the Republic party for putting up a forty-something soccer mom / babe / caribou killer with whom I vehemently disagreed on every political issue -- but I really cannot forgive them for putting someone out there as dumb, as wilfully ignorant, as downright DANGEROUS as Sarah Palin, who would be a disaster if she rose to the highest office in the land should McCain kick it. That is really and truly unforgiveable on a very deep level. Just imagine if there was an international crisis? Ms. End-Times, Witch-Hunter Palin up against a pissed-off Pakistani leader? Do we really want to contemplate the possible outcome of something like that?

Please. Do not even begin to make allowances for this sorry excuse of a candidate, who should never have gotten remotely close to being in charge of the largest arsenal the world has ever seen. Truly fucking frightening. And may McCain and those who put him up to it, rot in hell for their part in this cynical charade.
