It's not so hard to believe the differences in the way these people speak at conventions and when they are put on the spot with no teleprompters or scripts. Those speeches are ALL written by speech writers - not the speakers themselves - and candidates simply have to memorize them. It's all crap and used to whoop up the hysteria. This woman sounded like a genius when she read the script, but is now exposed for what she is...and what McCain's people did not want anyone to know...that she's just a common woman who holds a government position (Alaska governor) perfect for her level of education, knowledge and influence. But BY NO STRETCH of the imagination is she prepared for what she thoughtlessly got herself into. McCain now looks like a fool; Palin looks like a student who crammed for exams but is confused by all the memorized answers; and the Republican party who "supported" this team is look like idiots. Hannity, Rove, the Republican Speaker, and all those people who said that Palin is ready to be president are ALL - fucking idiots.

Assuming the 'those' that Palin refers to are fighter jets scrambled to investigate incursions into US Airspace, I would have asked a few more questions:

Q: Did you scramble Alaska National Guard aircraft or are you in charge of US Military warplanes stationed in Alaska?

Q: When did you authorize an intercept/escort mission involving Vladimir Putin's plane?

Q: What are your trade missions with Russia and do they help with Alaskan Cessation?

Why don't interviewers EVER jump on these types of statements????
