1. The big difference: Tina Fey didn't have to refer to her notes as Palin obviously did. nt

3. I was a little disappointed that Tina didn't include that in her skit
But otherwise it was another knockout.

4. When I saw this late last night. I though Tina Fey had taken part of one answer from the interview
Ok, that's what she did.

What is Tina Fey going to do on November 5 when her meal ticket becomes yesterday's news?

6. That's not her meal ticket.

11. And she has starred in various teen scene movies
Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 04:21 PM by truedelphi
And written at least one hot box office hit (For the teen market)

Forget the name of Fey's movie - highly enjoyable. About a teen girl who moves from the wilds of Africa to the USA and has to take on "The Plastics"
a group of girl clique HS in-crowders far more vicious than any pack of hyenas.

Thanks for filling in tonight's brain fog moment. It won't happen again-- I promise (At least not tonight!)

... in order to allow my brain to move forward.

14. Not just "stars"; it's her creation.
She's producer, writer, and actress for the show. So, yes, she's set.

10. At the Emmy's Tina was interviewed and said,
"I want to be done playing this lady Nov. 5," she said. "So if anybody can help me be done playing this lady Nov. 5, that would be good for me."

12. What cui bono said. These Palin skits are an annoyance to Fey.
She's doing a tad better than OK with that little gig called '30 Rock.' (which is a must-see if only to catch Alec Baldwin's acting)

9. What was interesting,
I thought the real interview was funnier when you see them side by side. Something about the real Couric blinking away that just slayed me.

15. It just hit me who Palin reminded me of with that rambling answer
That Miss Teen South Carolina totally fucking up her answer when asked why she thinks so many American teens can't find their own country on a map.

such as...U.S. Americans...the Iraq.
