4. Sounds like he's ridiculing Reid
I think he means that they are figuratively under martial law because the Speaker refuses to adjourn for the weekend.

11. we can joke and laugh about this...but...imo, it's not the least bit
funny, and I find NO humor in it..Our Congress is being held hostage in order to bail out Wall street at our expense???...As a Congressman/woman...I'd vote against any bill they tried pulling this crap with..there were some very spirited 1 minute speeches against it's passage..I almost wish I lived in Ohio...and that Kuchinic was my Congressman..wb

13. I agree with the Congressman. Let him see the legislation.
There SHOULD be hearings. They should be allowed to debate it. And they should most certainly not be bullied to vote for it without a fair opportunity to read it.

16. I agree with him
This is a humongous amt of money. It should have hearings. It should be online for twenty four hours.
I won't march in lockstep with any party.

18. It is "emergency" legislation ...

It is "emergency" legislation but I agree, there should be 24 hours to let the house members read it.

Aside, I do find it ironic that they're complaining about this now.
