3. Sorry -- So many people know who she is, I didn't think about it

It's the Michigan 9th District. Nancy is running in a 50-50 district against 7-term congressman Joe Knollenberg.

Nancy is a former progressive talk show host -- first on a syndicated show on WLS in Chicago and then on our local Air America affiliate here in the Detroit area. She grew up in this area and is a very strong environmentalist.

Unfortunately, the race hasn't been getting much national attention, but Nancy has a really good chance of winning.

the last poll was done on August 23 and she was at 40 to Joe's 44 with a 4.9 margin of error. This was before Labor Day and she's progressively gotten more name recognition since then. People are tired of Joe and they respond very well to Nancy when they hear her speak.
