For at least the third time, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin wrongly stated the role of the job she's campaigning for.
FOX News' Greta Van Susteren neither corrected Palin nor noted the mistake later in the program. From the 10/31/08 On The Record.

She is a thorn in my side, I admit it. I'm facinated that she continues to get it wrong, has probably been told that she's getting it wrong, and demonstrates no desire to get it right.

That is four times I've seen her asked on camera to describe the VP job. She still doesn't get it.

4. No job description?

I remember in grade school when the teachers describe the roles of the president, vice president, congress, etc, there was always an awkward silence when it came to the topic of Vice President. I remember asking the teacher what the Vice President does and the teacher said point blank....nobody knows. :sarcasm:

On a related note, I like the way that Gretta prefaces the question with "there is no job description" so that she can hand hold Palin and make an excuse as to why she won't know the answer. So pathetic. Shouldn't a prerequisit to this job (or any job) be that you actually know what the job actually is? In the least, you should be able to answer what a 3rd grader knows....Please fill in the blank. The role of the Vice President is_____________________________________________.

She disrespects the American people so blatantly that she has not bothered to read, commit to memory and reflect on

the constitutional role of the VP.

At the end of the video, for a brief moment, daughter Britol (i think) is seen with a downcast expression, as if to say,

"Mom, you're making an ass of yourself again. You are sooooo embarrassing."

We say if someone isn't very bright that they are as thick as two planks. Sarah is as thick as ten planks which makes her an ideal politician. Of course, compared with George W., Sarah is a genius!
