Cheney endorsed McCain today. Obama explained why McCain got that endorsement today in Pueblo, Colorado.

1. are endorsements supposed to work this way?
Cheney endorses McCain over Obama, then Obama uses that endorsement in his stump speech and McCain pretends it didn't happen?

5. Cogent arguments based on fast-breaking events . . .
Who would have thought a person could even do that?

Oh yeah. Everybody but Bush, Cheney, Palin, and their teeming ilk do that every day -- 'Lican pols can only spout stale talking points that were irrelevant when they were trotted out weeks ago.

I don't think the persuadables are anywhere near 1 in 7 (where'd that number come from, anyway?), so I'm not sure that the Cheney endorsement will do much except convince a few more Obama supporters to actually get out of the house on Tuesday. But the short video sure highlights the difference between the people at the top of the two campaigns.

Who could watch McCain/Palin and maintain a belief that they're ready to do *anything* that requires an intelligent, nuanced response backed by principle and real-world knowledge?

6. I find it very suspicious that

Cheney would wait until 3 days until the election to endorse McCain. Did anyone EVER believe that Cheney would jump the GOP ship (he helped build) to endorse Obama?? Please! I truly believe that Cheney is intentionally sabotaging McCain's campaign. I believe that Cheney is pissed at being told by McCain's people to stay away and of sight (along with Bush). Now all of a sudden he rears his ugly mug to give his blessing to McCain???? It makes no sense! I bet Cheney's is seriously pissed at McCain going on network t.v. and ripping Bush a new one over his failed policies and his mishandling of the Iraq war. Policies that Cheney helped create. He intentionally gave Obama new ammunition to use against McCain. Kind of like a big "F@*% You" to McCain. It makes perfect sense to me.

10. No doubt about it
I truly believe that Cheney is intentionally sabotaging McCain's campaign.

There is no love lost between McCain and Bush/Cheney. Everyone knows that. And especially after McCain all but admitted that he didn't vote for Bush in 2000. Of course he's backtracked on that now, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was the truth.

Cheney's shooting up McCain's chances at being Pres just as effectively as he shot up his hunting buddy.

11. Are you calling Cheney the bin Laden tape of '08?
The last minute game changer? ROFLMAO.

This was more like a state event in WY and he had to say it.

Cheney has been rather invisible since Ted Stevens fingered him on the corruption wiretaps.
