This video is posted by some creep who calls himself "Olbermann Watch." You have to skip to the halfway point to get to where they discuss Ben Affleck supposedly being intimidated by Keith Olbermann visiting the SNL set as he was rehearsing his anti-Olbermann skit. They ridicule Olbermann's restless leg syndrome (I have no idea if he has this or not) and one of the Fox & Friends hosts then closes the segment by calling Keith "the devil"

1. Fucking idiots one and all. They mock only themselves.
Most of the country hates their leader, sees the party for which they shill for what it is, and knows Keith has been right all along.

16. The way I look at it, Fixed news is biased about 90%. They also flat out lie about 90%, There is
no doubt that Keith is biased, but what he is reporting is well over 90 % truth.

There is absolultly no comparison between Keith and Fixed news. You can't compare them. Fixed news reminds me of the National Enquire of news. They lie, distort, and promote hate. They are disgusting.

Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 09:37 AM by TankLV
Sure the overwhelming majority of THE REST OF THE WORLD'S MEDIA is POSITIVE for Obama because Obama is POSITIVE and TELLING THE TRUTH, while the repukes are constantly LYING. Period.

And mcINSANE is running a 90% NEGATIVE campaign, with PROVEN LIES, while Obama is running a 100% POSITIVE campaign, with proven TRUTH and FACTS - ALL THE TIME!!!

And FUX is "equivalent" because they parrot mcINSANE's LIES as equivalent to Obama's TRUTH and FACTS...

fucking idiots...

I cannot stand those idiots at Foxnews, how can they sit there, on that couch and make fun of Keith. First of all, that boney leg tramp sitting between those two men child, would not look out of place in a bad porno movie, like most of the women on Foxnews, and as for those two clowns next to her, they don't have a brain cell between them. They are just jealous of Keith' intelligence. Go Keith you're the man, you make watching American news more interesting , after listening to all the lies that Foxnews spews out of their ass every day.

When did FOX EVAH do a negative ANYTHING with McCain/Caribou. And the reason (if it's true, this is FOX) the media would report more negative storie on McRage is that he's running a negative campaign. Nasty. Dishonest. Misleading. Racist.

If McCain's campaign is doing negative things 80% of the time and Obama's is doing 20% negative acts, then WHY SHOULD THE COVERAGE FOR BOTH BE 50% to 50%?

11. I love their comparisons on network coverage
Those figures are apples and oranges. All criticisms are not equal. Saying Palin is unqualified does not equate with calling Obama a terrorist, but they would be counted equally.

The McCain Palin ticket has done much more to warrant criticism. The Obama Campaign has been running a clean ship, being professional and dignified in their race for President. They have simply not done things that earn press criticism. For the Fox News to be 'equally' criticizing the 2 campaigns shows they ARE biased given the operations of both campaigns.

15. Olbermann Watch is a KO-hating Web site run by a loser named Bob Cox
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 07:55 AM by BerryBush
who is someday hoping to be mistaken for an important person.

It's been around for a few years now. All they know how to do is hate on Keith. And boy, they're gonna be weeping and wailing come this Wednesday...and blaming him. I can't wait.

Anyway, you know the people on Fixed and Fiends are liars, don't you?

Oh, and yes, KO does have restless leg syndrome--he has for about ten years--this was mentioned in the article about him in The New Yorker. Figures they'd make fun of a physical ailment he has.

Edit: Now that I've heard what they said...what idiots! They thought Affleck's sketch was going to make fun of his problem--and it didn't! They're the only idiots who think it's funny!

So Affleck said he found KO's presence made him nervous? Well, as one of those idiots points out, Tina Fey was made nervous by having Sarah Palin watch HER last week...oh, but we're told Sarah only "kindly" observed her!! Whereas Keith's presence was "intimidating"! Oh please.

"He's the devil every day...the horns come up right through the hair!" Funny, I'd say the same about the whole staff of Fixed Noise. Talk about "ripe for parody"--they should know!

K.O. is the best thing on and Rachel Maddow is a close second. I love the show and tell aspect of his reporting(bases his comments on fact). O'Reilly should learn from the younger guy. I am curious to know what K.O. will do with the show if Obama wins.

On a side note we should try to get Alex Twitt fired. She's a Republican!!

22. I don't want to be naieve..
but were any of those numbers true? Has FOX REALLY covered each candidate negatively equally? I find that extremely hard to believe. Does anyone know if the PEW Research Center is biased? How did they measure whether a story was "negative" or not? Did they cherry-pick their data?

Actually, this story shows exactly how biased Fox is. All the other media reported negatively 59% of the time for McCain. All other media. And Fox only talked bad about him 40%, so they were WAY nicer to him than all other media. But the fact is, McCain has made more mistakes, missteps, bad decisions, and a worse run campaign than Obama. Even Republican complain about how badly he ran his campaign! And, for Obama, ALL other media reported negatively for him only 29% of the time. And I cannot think of one negative thing that has been in the news for the past almost year that wasn't fabricated or a smear. And YET...Fox seems to be WAY above everyone else with negative stories on Obama. That shows how biased they are. But no, its not THEM. Its EVERYONE ELSE. Its like the woman watching her son march in a parade, and she claims he is the only one in correct step, and everyone else is off tempo.

If these numbers are correct, they should track how many of their stories were actually TRUE. I guarantee there is more truth being reported by KO than all of Fox combined, including the weather.

On a side note, where is the voice of people to correct these a*holes? They are allowed to just get on TV and Radio and lie, lie, lie. And NO ONE is allowed to speak up and call them on it? I pray to God if Obama is elected, he re-institutes the Fairness Doctrine, or some iteration of it. Keep these people in check.

25. A comment on first part -
Fox news is so desperate now that they are down to examining who's dishing out the negative press. Maybe negative press is directly proportional to negative campaigning. Fox should learn that news is news and since Obama is in the lead, things are going negatively for McCain. If Obama ran negative ads with robocalls and the scales tipped in favor of McCain, then of course the news would be negative for Obama. But stupid Fox has to point out that they are even...what bone heads.

given story they promote (if they bother with truth at all). One has to search for the facts elsewhere to know what's really going on. Take everything they report with a pound of salt and a deaf ear.

Their blathering reminded me of something I was wondering last night... Has SNL done any parodies of O'Reilly, Hannity, Colmes, Limbaugh, etc? Matthews is obviously a famous target, but I don't recall *any* SNL skits based on any of the Right Wing idiots. (Putting aside their ridicule of Elizabeth Hasselbeck from last night's show.)

35. May I propose an alternate theory behind the Pew Research findings
John McCain has run the worst presidential campaign ever. He trumpeted the fundamentals of the economy as strong as the Dow was tanking 770 points. He tried to paint his opponent as inexperienced and unqualified, and then picked a running who has shown America what inexperienced and unqualified really means. He protests that he is different than the disastrous Bush, but can't think of any way how. Four years of McCain will mean four more years of fewer jobs and more wars.

Meanwhile, the Obama campaign has had no trouble looking good at least by comparison. Obama's poll numbers are up (positive) and McCain's are down (negative). Most viewers thought Obama won all three debates (positive) while McCain was hostile and condescending, refusing to even look at Senator Obama in the first debate (negative). Governor Palin, when asked a simple question about the Bush Doctrine, demonstrated that she didn't know what it is (negative). Indeed, Mrs. Palin's interviews with Charlie Gibson and Katie Coutic provided several negative points, but none of which violated any principles of journalistic objectivity.

There isn't a lot of positive news to report about McCain. The fact that most of the news about McCain is negative does not reflect that the reporters are biased. It reflects that McCain has run a poor campaign. The fact that FoxNews is "balanced" with just as much negative news about the Obama campaign as about the McCain campaign does not mean that Fox is fair. On the contrary, in the light of any objective juxtaposition of the campaigns, that FoxNews can "boast" of such "balance" reflects that Fox is what we've always known it to be: the GOP's privatized Pravda.

38. Maybe.
It's Pew Research, not FoxNews, making the determination of what's positive and negative. I would be just as inclined to trust Pew as to distrust FoxNews.

Pew would certainly count it as negative that it is reported that the McCain campaign talks too much about Bill Ayers, and even then stretching the facts.
