A sticker attached to the upper front bout of Woody's guitar has this printed on it.
While I was there at youtube enjoying that link, I clicked on 'So Long It's Been Good To Know You'
and it's much more visible zoomed in.
Another amazing sight was a panned shot of a sign saying "JOBLESS MEN KEEP GOING. WE CAN'T TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE"

My Mom and Dad were late teens during that era.
Migrants from Missouri. Met each other picking in the citrus groves in central California.

every night.

Since Saint Ronnie was elected, I have only played it a few times. Each time, tragically wasted. Because I thought it was a lie.

But after listening to this, in context.....,

It's back on the list.

It's an upbeat patriotic song until the last verse, the one about the line of people at the relief office and the dustclouds and the question "Is this land still made for you and me."

That's what Woody was getting at and kudos to Bruce for playing the parts that have been pretty much forgotten. It was beautiful.
