Doors drummer comes out of the closet. John Densmore reveals that he is a democrat, and has been his whole life. He combines drumming and politics in this 2 minute video on the eve of what he hopes is a historic election.

3. Awesome... Thanx for the link!
I'm sending this to my youngest son, who despite my protests became a major Doors fan while growing up in the '80/'90s.

I wanted him to find contemporary sources for music back then because I grew up loving the Beatles, Doors, and 'Stones, and after listening to them all my youth, I found myself hearing the songs over and over again later in my life.

AHHHH!

I remember once, I put on a Vanilla Ice disc and he walked in without looking my way, opened the CD player, and quietly put it away. Then without a word he went to his room and cranked up The Doors. I was worried about him at the time, but he turned out fine.

5. Great drummer, great mindset...
As for John McCain, he may want to be the second coming of Reagan, but he's closer to the second coming of Nixon, complete with his own Spiro Agnew. Then again, Americans aren't going to elect McCain if the voters get out there and vote (which I predict they will!)
