1. No early voting. Makes for long lines on election day.

We had relatively long lines on our campus for early voting. There were 120 in line at 6 am this morning.

We're a fairly conservative campus, but these kids are overwhelmingly Obama!

I know that I just find it curious that Penn State Univ is a conservative campus if apparently the students are not conservative.

6. I wasn't speaking of Penn State.

Our faculty and administration are about as right leaning as you'll find in a public institution. Certain colleges within the university have pockets of conservative kids, but mostly it's Obama among the students.

hard to believe that many of them are standing in line for McCain even if it's a conservative college.

Then I realized that the fraction of people from my high school who are at PSU is very large, but the fraction of people at PSU who went to my high school is very small.

ETA: actually, the blonde girl at 0:32 looks a lot like a friend of mine. According to facebook, she voted some time before 8:38, so that might be her.
