What a fantastic rally! Love the anecdotes...Sen. Obama seems relaxed, confident and ready to make history!

Barack Obama saved his biggest Virginia rally for last -- a packed event in Manassas with 90,000 people in attendance.

Obama ended the event on Tuesday by telling the crowd: "In 21 hours, if you are willing to endure rainfall, to take the person who was not going to vote to the polls, if you will stand with me in a fight with me, I know that your voice will matter. I have one question for you, Virginia. Are you fired up? Are you ready to go? Fired up? Ready to go? Fired up! Ready to go! Virginia, let's go change the world!"

If he can keep that message GOING over the next 4 years, we can be a great country again. If 1/2 the volunteers who helped him, stay on as community organizers (perish the though), volunteers to educators, people to feed the hungry, aid the elderly. Imagine!

Hell yeah I'm fired up!!
That One has an uncanny ability to inspire. I listen to this and my heart beats a little bit faster. He genuinely excites me, not just because he is a good speaker and he knows how to invoke emotion, but because he gives me hope. He gives me the strength to not lose faith in my government. He gives me hope for my children, that they may see a brighter tomorrow.

My fears are totally outweighed by the overwhelming sense of pride I feel in my country. I've already voted, but in my city, there are people organized to march with signs and people organized to get out the vote. My boys are napping, but when they wake, we are going to go where the rally(s) is/are and drive by and honk in support. I have a case of bottled water in my trunk to give to the people out in the rain supporting Obama. I'm showered up, dressed up (my Obama tee isn't here yet, but I have a pretty killer Washington Capitals jersey to wear with the capital on the front), and indeed FIRED UP!
