...and it doesn't surprise me that Obama would be so compassionate--and express condolences
to Mr. Hopper after he lost his mother.

I hate to be petty, but I'm so glad that Elizabeth was sitting there listening to this.
I'm tired of people who think they're "all that", sauntering around the country and
suggesting that Obama is a terrorist or a socialist--when those gossip mongers don't
possess half the humanity or integrity that Obama has.

Hopper told it like it is--that people who talk like that--are a turn off.

I am hoping that an Obama administration makes mean-spirited snipes look foolish
and small.

I had a thread going on this past weekend about Palin and the prank Sarkozy call. It was all about her not listening/comprehending what was said to her. Her Ego is so overpowering that she will not really hear what others say. Obama appears to be the polar opposite.

13. I'm so glad he brought up Obama's thoughtfulness about his mother's death...

And, I must admit...I loved watching lying Liz have to sit there and listen to what a decent man Obama is; and Hopper's disgust with people who say otherwise. Oh, and Palin is what changed his mind, while Liz just stumped for her recently! lololol
