lost in very deep thoughts of his own. Wow. I've watched that over and over again and it makes me catch my breath every time.

3. There is a man who has lived the civil rights movement for so long now |
|
that he is overcome with emotions about something he probably thought he would never see. That jerked the tears out of me too.

Jesse looked pretty messed up.

I was going to make a joke, but it just doesn't seem appropriate now.
Jesse jackson helped make tonight possible, lest we forget. This is a man who has given his all for this country, and now it's paying off.

As a middle-aged black woman who has watched this man's career for years, I have never viewed Jesse Jackson as a true national leader of the black community. It may stem from my distaste for most pastors. I think his tears were for himself and what might have been. After all he made a run for President not that long ago. Don't forget this is the guy who was caught on tape saying he wanted to cut off Obama's nuts. I don't know if Jesse has a place at the table after that.

but I won't question his emotions. He has fought long and hard.

13. I think he did have envy but has enough empathy for this moment. He was very complimentary of Barack |

on Democracy now a month ago.
