Canadian TV interview with investigative reporter Boyd Harnell who is interviewed describing an eyewitness account of Japan's barbaric dolphin slaughter of some 20,000 small cetaceans annually. The drive hunts are conducted in Taiji, Wakayama, Futo, Shizuoka and in Iwate where porpoises are targeted. The most brutal drive hunts occur in Taiji where dolphins are driven into a pristine national park and speared.
Mothers and their babies are also massacred. Some dolphins are spared to perform as show dolphins in the lucrative captive industry.
