18. He gave a speech about this at the 2007 YearlyKos (now NetRoots) convention in Chicago

He was a moderate Republican who was socially liberal (fiscally conservative), etc. He later realized that the Republicans were anything but fiscally conservative.

Some are bothered by this, but personally I think it's a great selling point to make him seem more reasonable when sharing his clips/show with repubs/moderates/independents. Very frequently people come on the youtube clips to talk about how liberally biased Cenk is, how he's in the tank for Obama, etc.

I will have to hunt down the footage from that 2007 speech. I have come to adore him so it is particularly startling to hear that. No biggie, I suppose. Even Hillary Clinton was once a 'pub, I believe. I am just glad he came over to the light.

He is moderate and a centrist, from what I know of his views.

CNN Headline news is the same channel that features Glenn Beck for 2 whole nauseating hours every night prime time. Maybe CNN is slowly catching on, because Glenn Beck will be moving to FAUX soon. :)
