Stopped watching it years ago when it ceased to be funny and novel. Their cynicism is alive and well in that little bit showing Stan's father acting like a rabid loon.

Maybe the rest of the episode proves me wrong...but I'm kind of doubting it.

3. Actually, they've been pretty good over the last two seasons...
A lot of hit & miss, but overall it has gotten better.

I think it was the best south park in a long while. And the fact they had to put it together the day it had to air is pretty amazing.
