I've been hearing since Tuesday.

I'm hearing college teachers who should have a grasp of what socialism is complain that we're heading to a society in which federal spending will go through the roof and everything will be run by the government. Some students who obviously get their opinions from their parents (it's a commuter school) are saying the same thing.

My God!!! Have you been paying attention to the national debt and deficit spending in recent years? Were you sleeping when the Patriot Act was passed and has been implemented?

I'm hearing ignorant jokes about how they're tilling a garden in the backyard of the White House so that the new First Family can grow watermelons.

I never realized how ignorant our society is until this election. I knew there were pockets, but I'm seeing the ugly side of so many people that I couldn't have imagined a year ago.
