took me a while to find the whole thing but here you go. it's great to finally have a president (elect) who can answer questions with confidence and intelligence. a breath a sigh of relief. i think it was nice when he asked that reporter about her arm. listen for that part.

Or does this all seem like a dream world? I can't believe that America actually has a high quality president. He can maintain seriousness to handle business, but he always has that spark to him that can make it some what of a laughing matter.. Not laughing it off, but laughing at how ridic. things have gotten. He seems like someone you'd hang out with. He's willing to talk about his personal life, keep everyone involved.. But at the same time, knows when to turn off the heat, when intelligence was brought up. He's still president elect. I can't wait to see more! Please keep them coming. Thanks DU for all your involvement in the election. I'm new here, but i kept up to date because of all the posters. Hope i can bring something to the table soon. Thanks again.

The reporter asked what kind of dog they were getting. Obama joked that it was a very important decision; they have two conflicting criteria. Malia is allergic, so it has to be hypoallergenic..on the other hand, they would like a shelter dog, but "a lot of shelter dogs are mutts..like me".

They make the best kind...well-balanced, strong, not flaky or self-absorbed.
