Besides that little comment however which really made me laugh, I am very grateful for his dedication and encouragement on this issue :patriot:

will remain so. I agree with A'nold that this issue may ultimately be resolved by the SCOTUS.

6. actually, I think he meant the California Supreme Court |
|
I believe this wouldn't rise to the Supreme Court of the United States because it is a State Constitution issue. I may be wrong - someone correct me if that's not the case.

7. To clarify, I think the only way it would is if a State Supreme Court rules against? |

I don't think California will be the place that spawns such a battle in the courts however.
I agree with you that a lower court in Cali. and/or the Supreme Court in that state, will decide in favor of civil rights.

He campaigned for McCain/Palin.
I don't like the guy.
But dammit - I like what he has to say here.

He's one of the few republicans I don't hate, I just wish he had not endorsed McCain/Palin though.

It feels to me like he's one of those few Republicans that didn't totally forget what their party used to be. He has flashes that go both ways, but it's still refreshing to see a conservative that remembers that their party used to have a legitimate platform that didn't pivot on a bastardized version of a hateful Jesus.

What a difference a week makes. since then he has proposed raising taxes and fighting Prop 8. Guess he got tired of Maria making him sleep in the doghouse LOL . Maybe he'll trade the Hummer for a Prius next.
