Since this video was made, unfortunately the death tolls in both Iraq and Afghanistan have increased. It is an important reminder of why we have to end the wars and bring our troops home safely.

2. What have we learned?

Thank you for the video in honor of our veterans. I heard from my 90-year old cousin today who is a veteran of WWII. He was in the infantry in the Battle of the Bulge. When I asked him whether they had trenches, he explained how WWII was a "lonely war" since they had fox holes with only one or two soldiers in them. It's sad to be losing those who fought in the earlier wars, WWI and WWII. They have so much to teach us.
