1. Is it just me, or is Ron Christie slightly cross-eyed?
One or both of his eyes is definitely lazy.

8. More than a little but it appears that he has worked on it or been coached
being cross-eyed shouldn't change evaluation of his message

That being said-I hadn't seen him in a while I would suspect that he has gotten some media coaching on this. He has turned his head and probably concentrates with one eye towards the camera. I would guess that that would be the standard coaching for this situation.

Anyone you see on camera goes through a process of knowing how to be on camera. It literally starts with how you get in the chair (I have read). Also anyone in an inset can't see who they are supposedly talking to, O'Reilly infamously takes advantage of this.

What is the GOP message? Lies, greed, war, recession, intolerance, racism, incompentance, and hate?

5. Someone untie this guy's nuts, please!!!
If his name is "ron christie" or choir boy for the repug party, this is just one more delusional right winger.

Go sarah palin. Resurrect that nightmare and force that one on the US again. We were the laughing stock of the world...or those that realized what an ass hat she was. If they are dumb enough to bring that bimbo back out of the tundra, I look forward to doing everything in my power to crush her down.

Loser!!

Maybe the choir boy could run as her running mate. Now, there's a ticket. A female nut ball from the church of Alaska, and a minority that has a higher pitched voice than she does. God help that sick and dying party.

6. It's baffling, but they just don't get it.
I hope Sarah Palin does become the new face of the repugnant party. They certainly deserve the mean spirited liar.

People forget Howard Dean and his 50 State Strategy. He makes Karl Rove look like an imbecile.

9. 4 points on this
1.the red area is WV TN and ARK which are considered to be owned by the NRA. Contesting them is throwing money in a hole.

2. I talked to someone who considered running for Congress and he said that Romney gave McCain the best chance of winning. I disagree with this because he comes off as an empty suit and having a CEO on the ticket right now was not a good idea. His opinion came from the money/higher echelon of our party.

3. Schmerconish is right-they were trying to sure up who they should have had in their pocket (and probably did).

4. Christie doesn't seem to realize that THEY have caricatured themselves AND low taxes, national defense, etc. doesn't mean a damn thing to anyone right now. We got it keep the keel down and the sails up, tell us what you are going to do with the current-the wind-the immediate circumstances.

18. Two Things
Two things stand out from the clip and I offer this observation from my perspective as a social anthropologist. I am equally intrigued by the map that Chris showed detailing those areas of the country that increased in Republican turnout in the last election. Point number one, the map appears to reflect county and city regions. The map corresponds closely to those areas settled early in America's development by the Scots-Irish migration. Point number two, Christie stated that Palin clearly articulated her message. Pending further review, there seems to be an association between that message and the regions on the map that responded in an increased voter support to such a message. Christie, in effect, contradicted his own message.

23. The biggest laugh I had watching this video:
Edited on Wed Nov-12-08 03:10 PM by WhoIsNumberNone
When he said that Republicans 'try to keep the deficits low'.
HA HA HA HA!
Then perhaps you'd care to explain to us why the deficit MUSHROOMS every single year when a Republican is in office.
Is it because you are incompetent?

Do! Or do not.... There is no try.

To me this is just more proof that the Republican electorate are LIV's (Low Information Voters) After almost 30 years they still believe that line of shit.
