1. Bravo, Tweety. He was right on this one.
I'd been wanting to see this. Both these guests acted like idiots. Obama was elected by a freaking landslide. He's not supposed to take that as a mandate to do as he sees fit and move things to the left? They've gotta be kidding.

3. Landslide?!
We (Obama and his supporters) won the popular vote by %6! Let's not get cocky to our peril.

One of these idiots is correct: The independants gave Barack the election and he better reward them if he wants a second term. Plus, whoever said that being bold doesn't involve compromise. Some of the boldest moves in U.S. history have been compromises (Conneticut, Missouri, etc.) I want a second term, so he better be center left, which is still light years from Bush.

11. Electoral college, my friend.
It has nothing to do with being cocky. And yes, the independents gave him the election, but what were they saying when they did? "We want conservatism"? I don't think so.

Nothing wrong with a little compromise and across-the-aisle stuff. But wimping out because you're afraid voters won't like you if you stand your ground? That's another story.

I, like you, want center LEFT. Not center RIGHT. Not center center...which is what these guys seem to be pushing.

13. Yes, it was an electorial college beat down...but

A %3 shift in the battleground states is all we need to lose re-election. That's not much, which is why I say now and forever that the electorial college is misleading and undemocratic. If Barack had won buy 4 electorial votes and a %20 popular vote margin, we would be scared to stray too far left, and yet we would be more justified. Plus, if voters don't like you, they won't vote for you (See McCain, Kerry, Gore, etc.). Better make those independant happy and they ain't happy with Bush's neo-conservatism(far right, bat$hit-crazy conservatism). As much as I like Dennis Kucinich, I don't think the independants want him either. We gotta make this work for indies and lefties(phuck the right). That's all I'm saying.

10. To all those worried Republicans...
...who say Obama is going to have to raise taxes to expand the military or ............... (insert talking point here), I say get rid of those no bid contracts to the private contractors (mercenaries) and let's see how much money we have left. These turds really piss me off. They are out of control spenders who slander Democrats for being wasteful.

I'm so sick of this. If they have something intelligent to say, then let them on the tube. Otherwise, they should finally shut the fuck up so that we can get to work fixing the problems THEY have caused.

12. Forked tongue is right
For 8 years we hear nothing about 'having to balance the budget' as the Republicans almost borrow and spend us into bankruptcy as a country, but as soon as a Democrat gets into office all of a sudden its back to 'you have to pay for it' and 'balancing the budget is the most important thing'. Typical Republican strategy do what you want when your in office and obstruct as much as you can when the Democrats are in office. Hey Republicans! you screwed up the country for 8 years and lost it is time for you to step aside and let the adults run the country so just keep your mouths shut and learn how to govern the right way. As an aside I don't think it is as important that President Obama govern to the left or right as it is that he govern effectively and show that he knows how to get stuff done.
