6. I get dissing on Mash the TV show, but Cuckoo's Nest is a great film, no?

Mash the movie was good at the time (yet is now quite dated), but the TV show didn't quite match up.
Catch 22 (still relevant and timely) on the other hand is as good as an anti war film gets. In a three minute conversation the old Italian guy totally exposes imperial tendencies, and war in general, for the stark naked absurdity they virtually always are.

And I never understood Mash. But I'm guessing at least part of that is because I only saw it as a kid watching reruns in the 80's (and a little in the 90's). I tried watching an episode a year ago and was still bored.
