1. On Animal Planet, Friday nights at 10PM EST, there is a new series about The Sea Shepherd.

I watched it last Friday. It was fascinating.
I was shocked to find out that Greenpeace, which Capt Watson of the Sea Shepherd helped co-found, and Sea Shepherd do not work together. In fact, at one point the Sea Shepherd called a Greenpeace ship to get help finding a Japanese whaling ship, and the person on the Greenpeace ship hung up on them.

Greenpeace will not help Sea Shepherd at all. Greenpeace is basically run as a corporation and I think they do not like doing anything that might compromise their company, like lawsuits and such. Anyhow if you read Sea Shepherd website, Captain Watson often discusses his views on Greenpeace (money over actual activism).
