3. Report from the St. Louis Region-We are Center Left. |

Yes, there are the stick in the mud, Republicans, or Blue Dog Democrats, but the majority-Center Left. On any given day, I talk to 20 to 50 people. The majority are Center Left!

4. These people are so fucking OUT there! |

If you got elected to office, would you listen to the people who got you in there or the ones whose ideas were rejected? Fuckin' ignorant.

Holy crap! Chris really let him have it, as well he should. The Democratic Party has been given the largest mandate, starting in 06' and continuing on through today, in the history of the country. Center right my ass!
Perhaps we should lock the doors like the repukes did, and make them have meetings in the basement. Believe me, a large part of me would support that if only to teach them a lesson in how it feels to be made completely irrelevant.
In fact I support using the 'nuclear option' the repukes threatened the Democrats with and changing the rules in the Senate concerning filibuster and the need to get to 60. I was thinking the rules committee could be thinking more along the lines of 55 or so. lol
Repukes would do it in a heartbeat. I know, I know, we are not repukes. Still they are going to make this a very long 4 years, even if they have no real power.

He better not cow down to the thugs. It has been proven over and over again that if you hold hands with the thugs they will bite you. Or, stab you in the back.

Oh quit it already...We are a left leaning, open minded society(except for the igorant right), and hopefully we can keep our majority and build on it. We need to look at our Senate and House races for 2010 and get busy, also find ways to keep all our new Dem voters interested.
As for tweety...until six months ago I could have sworn he was a righty...then he saw which way the wind was blowing and came back to our side of life. I mean we all know he has a little stiffy for Obama now and that's probably the reason he is taking a tougher stand on these guys. He used to let them spew their shit w/o question. He has a very long way to go before I can trust him. :hippie: I still like what he did here.
