Chicago - Woman Files Complaint and Lawsuit: "While Obama was givng a victory speech in Grant Park, and Oprah was crying on a white man's shoulder, 5 white Chicago cops were terrorizing a black family on Chicago's west side. The experience was so traumatic, it caused a 3-year-old boy to wet himself. (Please forgive the audio. The station is having trouble with most of their videos.)"

2. We had a sudden police presence in our little neighborhood.

We're in a predominantly black area. As soon as the results were announced, there were city and county cops ALL OVER the place. My sone wanted to light a botttle rocket, but didn't dare. As far as I know, there was no tear gas or anything. I think the heavy presence of cruisers was an intimidation thing. It pissed me off! People had every right to be in the street screaming if they wanted to! :mad:

The African American's were going to riot. I know I heard that several times and I am mainly a recluse. My reply was, don't worry if he wins, it is if he doesn't win due to cheating you have to worry about because it won't be only the Black people that will take to the street, but a bunch of us whities too.

The funny thing is that one person that asked me about this during the primaries, on election night called me to tell me that if Barack didn't win they would be over to go to the streets with me. Her and her husband are both in their sixties as am I, so it would have been funny if we had taken to the streets in this small town.(They live in the country so it would have done them no good if they went out in the road and hollered.) They had become as big Obama supporters as I was. Good thing he won! ;)

Sad but true. I'd like to see them fired and busted, but in truth the likelihood is so small, it's not worth considering.

I hope I am wrong (it wouldn't be the first time) and that this family receives justice and the Bushie Cops receive their just desserts.

They don't agree with/condone people committing a crime?

How about being against committing a crime?

At minimum they should not tolerate hate crimes.

They should say they do aggressively pursue prosecution and convictions against crimes, and most certainly against hate crimes.
