...I've seen him a few times (while Stern's show was still telecast on E!) I almost felt sorry for him. He seemed as stupid as he was hateful. Some of the crap he spews borders on the fantastic and the blatantly ridiculous.

Oh well. I guess some things will never change. As long as Stern has a show, he'll feature whack jobs like this.

...I remember many shows in which Stern would play Carver's current answering machine message and then follow it up with a live interview. The guy has a single level of intensity...somewhere just above "woke up from an afternoon nap"...and it's hard to tell if he knows he's being put on display like a circus freak or if he thinks he's being gifted with a platform for his "views."
