3. I've been TV-free for many years, and had to follow all this on the internet.

I'd been up from about 10PM (PST) the previous night, and was following it mainly from DU.

As the earliest returns became rolling in, reports of systematic voter disenfranchizing also began coming in. Alarmed, I fired up my laptop, and dedicated it to double-checking those stories w/Google. Most of them checked out, and I was getting into a panic. At my age, I couldn't bear the THOUGHT of another year of what went on the previous eight. I was jumpier than I recall ever being. Finally,when it looked like a sure O'Bama victory, I finally crawled into bed. I was awakened by a phone call from a friend (and fellow DUer). "We WON!" I've been in high spirits ever since.

Bunch of morans - you could tell they were all pulling for McLame. But all their little gadgets and holograms couldn't change the facts. And again, compare the speeches: The boos and shouts during McLame's speech versus the positivity of Obama's message and audience.
