I watched this clip the other day, and all I could think of was what a dumb ass bor is. WHY does anyone invite this sack of shit on their program, as though he is worth listening to for any reason what so ever.

WOW, Stewart real nailed that now matter what the elctoral map has been in 40 years, the ideal of America is progressive. To build that ever increasing fairer and... more perfect union. Stand back Republicans for the true tsunami of liberal progression. So any Republican who comes at us to say Barack isn't a true America just tell them to go back read the founding ideals of the nation. America isn't a place it's an idea.

9. It was a class interview really Stewert laid into him but in very subtle ways. Bill has drummed his>

audience up into a state of fear and Jon ridiculed this pointless fear for what it is childish nonsense. This interview is so important and every Republican should watch it as it shows them up for what they arre really behaving like complete brats. What Jon was actually doing was disarming the rhetoric and in doing so making Barack safer. Kudos to JOn.

I personally find it intersting to see how they tick. Jon has to come up with guests regualarly so has to be careful with fragile egos. We all mostly know how are party thinks but Republicans are an eternal mystery to me and I wanna know more, Jon handles them well and gets to what makes them think as they do. Please don't get me wrong, not jumping on anyone just explaining why he does play things careful with some guests.

11. I disagree somewhat

He turns into a pussy when he has big-name guests on... or unless the guest starts trying to rip him or the audience. Admittedly, I have only watched the odd John Stewart Show here and there on the internet because I live abroad, so I haven't watched it on a regular basis for quite some time; however, I do recall episodes when he would have writers on his show and he would seriously challenge preposterous claims that their books would make.

with probing questions. But he is always polite no matter what.

I've only seen him give a pass to one guest, and that was a soldier who had just returned from Iraq and I have been watching the Daily Show every night for 8 years.

to be nice to someone whom you genuinely don't like. Billo is an arrogant blowhard who spun to prominence because of it. Some find him entertaining because of his style. There is nothing else he offers and he certainly is not a reporter or a journalist as I remember from my youth. Would love to have seen him with Edward R. Murrow or Mike Royko. They would have had him in tears in seconds but that is not Stewart's job. In fact Stewart may not have much imput into who is booked on his show and is trying to be gracious. Or just keep his job.}(
