3. Why did Byron Dorgan go on TV to say nothing? |
|
Edited on Sun Nov-16-08 11:36 AM by Eric J in MN
If Dorgan wants to keep his vote secret, whatever.
But he didn't have to go on national TV to say that he won't say.
Update: I didn't watch the whole appearance, and if Dorgan spoke about lots of other things, then maybe his appearance was worthwhile.

4. Concerned he'll leave the Democratic Caucus? Concerned? |
|
I, for one, am not concerned at all. I think Joe's actions are deserving of one swift and sure reaction. Kicking his turncoat a** so far to the curb he never finds his way back!

5. If the GOP wants Joe then they should get him. That's apparently where his allegiances lie anyway. |

Progress will ultimately relegate DINO's like Lieberman to the dustbin of history.

6. Dorgan sounded level-headed |

but on TV that the best face to put on. When the group-think takes over during the vote process, we'll see what really happens. I do believe that the thought-processes going on in Lieberman's head regarding the position he holds run counter to the new direction the administration wants to take the country, so to keep him there is counter-productive.
if Lieberman truly puts 'country first' as he mouthed with the audience during the RNC', it won't matter who he caucuses with, but believe me, he is without a country right now whichever way this turns. neither side will trust him worth a crap. why should they.
