4. okay, this is subversive as all get out

I signed up for DU specifically to comment on this video, but I ended up commenting all over the place..this is a neat forum...

So, this video, which was headlined on OpEdNews, which I then googled, which then brought me here, is really interesting..people don't write story songs like this too often anymore and I've been looking at the lyrics closeley and realized everything in the video is right with the song. It hammers in such a wierd way slavery and racism in our country, obviously is states something big about 9-11, bashes the Fed subtly (the $5 dollar bill after the JFK assasination was a silver certificate for those who are into the depths of that event), compares our money to monopoly money (the only point in the video where I laughed), and says 'there's no terror like our own hypocrisy". And that part makes you cringe, if you have any soul at all.

The song is like a musical and all harmonic, but the words are pretty dark--it's a wild contrast, feels like I'm doing a crossword puzzle, goes well with a bowl..am I allowed to say that? Well, it does.
