4. These people are unbelievable.

Two trillion in secret loans on top of the 750 billion? No one is even talking about what caused this, the damn rating houses. They have been turning dog shit into gold for decades now, and it is all crashing down.

They are just dumping money down a huge pit created by greed, and they are doing it on purpose. Now if they don't get their way they will crash the bus? After over 2.8 TRILLION in bailouts, the majority of which is most likely backed by BBB rated assets? If you can even call them assets. Naomi's comparison to a infant is right on the head.

I hope like hell this lawsuit is successful. It is going to be interesting to see what was put up for these loans. I have the feeling the word borderline is going to be a thing of the past in short order. Then we will start hearing pardon. What a disaster.

29. I've been saying to friends since the announcement of this deal

that this is the final looting of the US Treasury by the Bush Crime Family.

Perhaps one day we'll find out just how much they've stolen between no-bid contracts in Iraq, to the undelivered supplies and assistance to Katrina victims, to taking full advantage of the economic fallout from 9/11. To name but three instances were taxpayer money vanished into thin air. In short, we've been run by an organized criminal organization for the last eight years and that sort don't stop until the suckers are milked dry.

When Paulson first put up his three-page, don't ask me any questions, bailout proposal, he basically was saying, "Nice little country you got here. Sure be a shame if something was to happen to it."
