When the books first come out, they'll be flying off the shelves. For about a day.

All the wing nuts will be lining up to buy them- particularly Sarah Palin's book- on the first day it's released. Some of them may even stay up for a midnight sale the night before. After all, they're going to have weeks and weeks of free advertising: Rush Limbaugh will be talking it up for a couple of weeks before it's released. Human Events will be plugging it. It will be the New York Times #1 best seller the first week it's out. Then, like a Metallica album, it will drop to #39 the second week (Actually, since the NYT Bestsellers are determined by wholesale orders and not actual retail sales, it may take a little longer. But expect to see those books on remainder shelves within 6 weeks)
