The Japanese Whalers are leaving for the Antarctica Whale Sanctuary to kill target of 1000 whales, under the guise of "research". It is illegal to do whaling in the Antarctic Sanctuary, however neither the Australian Government nor the United States government is stopping them or taking them to court.


Sea Shepherd departs December 1 to block the Japanese Whalers from killing whales.

Animal Planet went along with Sea Shepherd last year on their trip to stop the Japanese Whalers and will do so again this year.

The series is on Animal Planet Fridays 9 pm.
