Kucinich to FOX host: "At this point YOU could probably call yourself a bank and get TARP money"

And this warning:

"We have to be concerned about a bank takeover of the government itself"

1. 700 Billion for Wall Street: "No Problem!" 25 Billion for the Big Three: "Nope"
Edited on Wed Nov-19-08 07:07 PM by fascisthunter
We lose the big three, we will be in big trouble. I am more willing to help the Big Three with Thick Strings Attached than to let them file chapter 7. This is about thinning themselves and destroying the Union, but we have them right where we want them.

2. naomi wolf democracy now
Edited on Wed Nov-19-08 07:30 PM by 90-percent
too lazy to find the DU links to this awesome 3 part interview with naomi wolf.

This is nothing more than the greatest crime in history.

It's Hitler's "big lie" technique for the rich to steal from the poor. It's so audacious and brazen that to even question it will bring on the next great depression.

Talk about balls! The powerful behind this have the conscience of a shark.

Kucinich will go down in history as one of the most courageous congressmen of all time.

8. correction to above

Naomi Klein, not Naomi Wolf.

Naomi Wolf has lotsa vids about modern internment camps - camp blackwaters for undesirables and enemies of the state.

MY mistake.

4. Fox is actually treating Kucinich with respect and agreement? Has the moon turned black as
sackcloth? Are the rivers running with blood? Are the Dems showing spine? Are the Repugs showing intelligence?

I'm stunned I tell you, stunned.

The end is near.
We are all totally screwn.
I'm going to put my head between my knees and kiss my *&^% goodbye.

10. I know.
It does tend to make one glance about in search of locusts and quartets of horsemen.

6. Ultimately
a "bailout" would not save the big 3. They would likely continue down the path that has brought them to this point. Also I doubt the money would go where they say it would. It would land in the pockets of the wealthy few, like the financial market bailout.

7. You are probably right.

However, if it contained provisions carving out a safe harbor for pensions it might be worth it anyway. It certainly would be more beneficial than the goddamn Wall Street bank bailouts or all the other money sent down military contractor ratholes.

Regardless, Dennis has to stand with labor on this. They have stood with him in tough times.
