10. It ranks right up there with...
..."Obviously, a major malfunction." (Challenger disaster)

12. Not unless they are Drs. w/ the needed gear they don't have .....
.... everything under control.

The man just had a stroke and passed out and yet that
person tells a bald faced lie.

2. Looks like a stroke. Started slurring his words, losing place...
That's bad.

I hope he stays alive... he will likely be needed as a witness for the prosecution.

4. I feel like a sicko for watching it but I did anyway
Sort of like how I felt when I went against my better judgment and watched the clip of Hussein being executed.

6. the fundementals of our economy are strong
er... well there's always Bush Sr passing out in front of the Japanese or whichever it was. Bonk. Compared to stuff on Youtube this is mild. Now sicko would be everyone including me who's seen Kennedy get shot about 800 times in one's lifetime explaining which part of the brain flew were. That shit just numbs the crap out of me.

27. Bush Sr. went down from too much sake, didn't he?
You throw up and pass out when you drink too much. Not from the flu.

9. Mukasey's conscience was eating away at him just for a couple of minutes.
I'm sure he has recovered now. He'll be back at his own game soon.

He fell in front of the Federalist Society. How ironic. What better place to be silenced. Maybe the wrath of God struck him.

Mukasey was born with the gifts, the intelligence to live a life of integrity, but his conduct, his decisions as Attorneu General demonstrate that somewhere, sometime along the way he sold out, probably early on. How sad.

And while he was praising George W. Bush?

Maybe God don't like torture and murder and lies and theft?

11. Wow this longer version is worse
When he starts to slur his words, that's bad. I hope he's ok, I wish nothing bad on anybody. What hell for family and loved ones to have something like this happen so publicly. They'll probably see this video all over the news etc.

14. might be a drop in blood sugar
that happened to my mom when she was undergoing chemo - and her red blood cell count was low. just needed a rest, some apple juice and back into bed. totally identical - blabbering and slow slump in awareness. eerie, but hopefully not life-threatening

if it is a stroke, I would be surprised.

15. How dare they move the flag.......traitors!
Someone should have gone up on the stage while those irresponsible "agents" were all worried about Mukasey, and grabbed the flag and proceeded to wave it while singing "God Bless America"!!

What's this world coming to?

16. It's literally like watching the conservative moments fall
this was at a Federalist Society event too

"Oh, no, no!" people in the audience cried out as Mukasey fell. "Oh, my God!"

After collapsing, Mukasey lay on the stage for about 10 minutes being attended to by his FBI security detail and medical personnel at the dinner, said eyewitness Abigail Thernstrom, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Though he lost consciousness initially, Mukasey appeared to be awake when he was taken from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in northwest Washington, she said.

"It was hard to watch such a thing," Thernstrom said. "It was horrible."

17. On the up side, he has real good health insurance.
Not like us little people who's insurance suddenly claims a preexisting condition and they wont cover the cost when sickness eventually hits.

I'm sure he'll be fine.

18. Hey, stop it.
This same thing happened last summer to my father at a family picnic.

It was terrifying. He has still not made a complete recovery.

I don't care who Mr. Mukasey works for. I actually know very little about him personally. Disagree with his policies? That's fine.

But no one deserves to be mocked for having a stroke, seizure or other neurological trauma.

He is a human being and it's very disturbing to see this happen to a person no matter what your political beliefs are.

22. Sorry, still not funny.
I despise the Bush Administration as much as the next person. I would like to see W and all his minions who acted illegally be prosecuted and sent to jail forever.

But having a hearty laugh at the expense of anyone who is having a stroke, TIA, epileptic seizure or even a fainting spell -- any situation in which it's obvious their speech is becoming impaired and they are losing motor control and consciousness is just. not. funny.

Let's be grownups.

29. I think that's different than someone looking like he was having a stroke.
A word isn't the same thing as someone possibly dying and I'm pretty sure it would blow up in their faces if they did it.

30. Well, he walked out of the hospital under his own power and appears to be suffering no ill effects
from the episode. That might take the "dying" out of it. And dark humor exists. Within hours of the Space Shuttle Challenger blowing up, I heard five jokes about it. Come to think of it, they weren't very funny. I don't know. I'm just outgassing.
