From Defenders of Wildlife
The US Fish and Wildlife Service is ONCE AGAIN trying to remove the protections for the GRAY WOLF under the Endangered Species Act.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has decided to reopen for PUBLIC COMMENT its decision to once AGAIN delist the wolves. YOU have until November 28, 2008 to be their voice. After that, officials will swiftly decide to remove federal protections for the wolves in much of the northern Rockies and turn management of the species over to the states.
YOU have until November 28, 2008, to tell Dale Hall, head of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to adopt a responsible management plan for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies, and leave their endangered species in place.
Please sign on to the Defender's petition to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which will be submitted on YOUR behalf.
