12. Toby Keith's problem

Toby Keith's real problem is not that he's a moron or that he actually believes all this "War on Christmas" crap. In fact, he is an admitted Democrat. No, Keith's problem - and in some respect I guess a sign of his intelligence - is that he knows on which side his bread is buttered. He makes his living via country music and recognized immediately what was going to happen to the Dixie Chicks when they started saying bad things about Bush. He may have even felt the same as the Chicks, but he knew that stating those views would not help him sell records to the rabid right-wing fans who adore him. No, Keith's problem is not that he believes all of this stuff, it's that he has no integrity.
