8. If these people are being intimidated by someone, isn't the best way to deal with it to

go public? Just call every newspaper, TV station, radio station, friend, family member and tell them who has threatened you, what they said, and what they wanted.

Once it's out in the open they are a hell of a lot less likely to try anything stupid. These bastards do not like to be the focus of media attention when they are trying to coerce people.

Just spending a minute thinking about some of the possible ways they could threaten a person, carry out crimes, and get away with murder, it isn't hard to see they will stop at nothing.

16. I HAVE thought about it. Extensively. But I always come back to the thought that they are

only able to carry out the threats with impunity IF they can operate in secret. They do not want to be found out and they do not want to be convicted.

Let's say you get a phone call from some voice you've never heard and it says "You have a three year old daughter with blonde hair don't you? You wouldn't want anything to happen to her would you?" Click, the phone goes dead.

That is a threat. And despite the fact that you have no idea who made the call or whether they might actually carry out the threat, you are now living in fear for your daughter IF you do what these folks are trying to prevent you from doing.

So, it seems to me that the best course of action is to immediately notify every media outlet and the police of what has transpired and who you might think is behind the threat.

It would be tragic if something did happen to your daughter. But at least the public would know who might be behind it and the police would know who to start the investigation with.

I doubt that many perps would be brazen or foolhardy enough to carry out the threat given the public awareness that a threat had been made.

Why are the only reports about this ALWAYS from some little local news affiliate?

Why aren't the networks touching this?

Cheney shot a man in the face, and it was headline news EVERYWHERE for two weeks.

Now this, which is ten times more serious, and NOBODY will touch it, either in the legal system, OR the media.

Cheney is interfering. He must be. This is some banana republic-ish stuff here.

12. Let us not forget also

Cheney shot a man in the face and it was on the news as a punchline immediately. The news never portrayed the situation with the Shot in Face type of seriousness that was required. They never grilled Cheney on how he could possibly shoot someone in the face, nor how he could be unapologetic about it, nor why it was okay for the guy shot in the face to apologize to Cheney when the opposite never happened.

It's not just that the media must cover something, it's how they cover it that counts as well.

and he DID show up Friday 11/21--and demanded the judge recuse herself.

So Monday she just doesn't show?
