4. I don't know, I actually think Hannity's head would explode
and or he'd leave everyday with a black eye.

;)

I couldn't imagine Hannity on with an *actual* strong voice from the left.

7. Cenk would clean his clock daily, for sure.
ClusterFux News ain't got the b**ls nor the integrity to ever do something like that. The closest Cenk came to reality was Thom Hartmann, and that's still the other side of the universe from reality.

Thom could deal with the situation very calmly and would cut Hannity to ribbons. Won't happen. And frankly I wouldn't like to see Thom's hands dirtied by sitting near Fawned Insannity.

6. that would be tons of fun.

8. They could just keep the name Hannity & Colmes and let
Hannity talk to himself and agree. That's all it ever really was anyhow.

9. I nominate Janeane Garofalo. She would so kick Hannity's ass
in so many entertaining ways.

13. I don't think you'd talk her in to going on Fox though...
Edited on Tue Nov-25-08 05:41 PM by calipendence
I still remember when Colmes was just starting his solo radio show, and one of his first guests was Janeane.

She was pretty polite talking to him first, but you could tell a bit "guarded" in her commentary...

Then when he said something about her "kumbayaing" with someone else, she was silent for a moment and then exploded at Colmes, saying that he wasn't a true left talker, should have listened to her friends warnings about him, etc.

Somehow, I don't think she'd put herself in the same position that Colmes did for so long, after hearing that exchange then.

I think if Fox could talk anyone into being on that show, it would likely be someone like Lionel, who doesn't strike me as a true progressive at times when I hear him talk, or Lynn Samuels, who is absolutely a horrid show host in my opinion, and I think Fox would like to depict her as the "typical" progressive talk show host that their right wing audiences would love to hate, which she isn't.

22. Take Lynn please, Fox!
So I can hear either the full 3 hours of Thom Hartmann or Ed Schultz live on Left 146. The other would go on POTUS 110.

20. a better female match
I heard Hannity on Garafollo's AirAmerica show... I have to say, he came off very well (within the limits of the fact that, of course, I rarely agree with him). I think she'd be over-matched. But if you want to see some gender balance, how about Stephanie Miller?

10. It is not immediately apparent that the Intercollegiate Studies
Institute (the site of the civics test) is a very conservative site. I took the test and then looked around a bit before I realized this. Just an observation.

21. Fox still has an in house token liberal in Juan Williams
or did he finally get tired of the charade, too?

Williams has NPR to use as a fall back.
