I got an email this afternoon from the co-producer of this documentary series. I watched a few of them, and it looks like good stuff. New episodes are posted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Here is a brief snippet from the email they sent me:
Hometown Baghdad is an ongoing web documentary series about the lives of a few young Iraqis living in Baghdad. It was shot entirely by Iraqis filmmakers and co-produced by my company - Chat the Planet.
These episodes show the subjects, all in their early 20s, talking about politics, what they think of the Bush administration and of the occupation, and how it all has affected their lives and their country.
Nearly everyone in the world has had their say about what is right for Iraq but we never hear from real Iraqis. These videos finally give a face to the faceless and a voice to the voiceless.
