My God - the flu, HIV, common cold, and everything else evolves! Some significantly every year! Who the hell wants these people influencing domestic policies when they're living in some fantasy land and are unable to comprehend the threats of some of our most formidable and REAL national threats - pathogens?!?

Besides the proud hands in the air and McBain's panic, the framing of the question is also incredible. Look at how deism (not real religion, but some type of twisted political righteousness) and evolution are placed in opposition by the question. Is belief or faith necessary or even relevant to an individual assessment of whether the theory of evolution is useful in a growing understanding of the universe? Anything divisive serves the purpose of furthering ignorance and fear. Fuck evolution, and give me my gmo fed slab of Montana black angus prime rib, custom made by God for my enjoyment.
