"Statement von Howard Dean am Open Forum Davos 2009 während dem World Economic Forum (WEF)
Thema: "Klimagerechtigkeit: Basis einer neuen globalen Solidarität?"
Anwesend: Kofi Annan, Ajit Gulabchand, Bharrat Jagdeo, Raj Singh und Howard Dean
Category: News & Politics"

Interesting talk, about 5 minutes. Agrees US is the worst villain on the environment. US has less influence now, he says.

DU's DFW met with Howard Dean while he was in Geneva. Sounds like a great get together they had.

There is also a video clip of an interview he did with the BBC while there.

1. My first thoughts on this...

That it is nice to see him get recognition at least overseas.

He deserves it here as well, but at least he got some appreciation somewhere.

I know there will be no comments, and if they are they will most likely be rude.

He deserved better, and I intend to give credit where due.

Guess that's the way of bipartisanship. Those who stood up are out on their ears.

3. I have faith that Howard will get the recognition he deserves someday
Daschle's reputation is like dirty laundry right now and Obama has to circle the wagons to try to keep the stink in. I don't trust Daschle. He's got lots of conflicts of interest with the healthcare industry that I think will undermine his role at HHS. Most likely he is there to prevent single payer from being the answer to our healthcare problems.
